I should have taken a picture of the pattern drawn out on the fabric but I'm just starting to document my dyeing and it seems that I have alot to remember but here is the tapestry tied.
The person that ordered this dye told me what colors they wanted but it's up to me to decide where to put them. This can be one of the hardest parts because once you put the dye on there's no turning back.
Here's one side fully dyed.
I've opened the sheet to where it's still folded in quarters...at this point I know it's going to look good.
Here is the final product. 12' long by 8'10" high.
I wish I had area big enough to have gotten the whole dye in the photo.
The dye is now living in southern California.
I think it looks very cool and I hope it's owner always finds it nice to look at.
